Year 5 and 6 took part in the fantastic STEM ‘H2 The Future’ workshop. It was extremely fun and practical and pupils designed, built and tried their hydrogen powered vehicles. By
taking part in this workshop pupils were taught about: Energy – what it is, how it is stored and how it is converted. Transport – how transport has changed over time and how changing energy systems will impact transport in the future and hydrogen – what it is, why it is useful in energy storage,  how it can be created from wind turbines and how fuel cells can be used to convert hydrogen to electricity.

Well done Year 5 and 6!
